Bivy Trail Runner Hat
$0.00 USD
$30.00 USD
I love hiking and running in this hat. Great air flow and its easy to tighten up on those windy days! Holds its shape great even after you accidentally put it in the bottom of your bag and than pile all your gear in :)
The perfect addition to a rad day out! This hat accommodates all weather patterns. Sun -> here's some shade. Rain -> let me block that for you. Wardrobe not coming together -> girl, I got you 🔥
I love this hat! It's light, dries fast, stylish, versatile and durable. Makes you look as good on the trail then on the streets! By far the best hat I ever bought!

We haven't shared a list of vehicles due to how many makes, models, are sold internationally. When the Backseat Bivy was launched in 2021 the founders went from dealership to dealership installing the Backseat Bivy, and trying it out in as many used vehicles within the community to assess how it works. From all our research we have found that if the compatibility guidelines are followed most people can assess whether a Backseat Bivy works in their vehicle. The bivy has worked in many different vehicles from Subaru's to Tesla's, and even in some smaller cars like the Pontiac Vibe. The daisy chain allows the rear straps to easily configure to your vehicle. We are always happy to discuss your vehicle, hit us up via the chat in the bottom right corner or hello@backseatbivy.com if you have questions.

The Backseat Bivy works in a wide variety of vehicles, and really shines in SUV's. The best way to see if the Backseat Bivy will work in your vehicle is:
1. Slide front seats forward.
2. Fold down rear seats.
3. Lay down in the back of your vehicle length wise, add camping mattress for comfort.
4. If your head is hanging over the gap (unsupported) and your head is not hitting the front seat the Backseat Bivy can add valuable head room to ensure that you get the sleep you need to conquer a big day outdoors.
Please refer to our compatibility flow chart.

In the event the Backseat Bivy doesn't work to meet your needs, we offer easy free returns (North America only) within 30 days of receipt. Yes it must be in new condition, meaning you may have installed it in your car but you didn't spill coffee all over it, allow you dog to sleep on it, and use it to go to a couple music festivals. 😏

1. Convenience, the Backseat Bivy sets up in under 2 minutes. When your packing up all you have to do is slide your front seats back and drive off. Say goodbye to packing up a wet tent.
2. Versatility of when you can camp. Camping in the spring in many parts of the world can be challenging with a tent due to snow and wet ground to set up camp. Sleeping in your car allows you to get off the ground and stay warmer.
3. Trailhead starts. Generally finding a good spot to put a tent near a trail head can be challenging, ie rocky ground. Camp where you park with your vehicle next to the trailhead, so you can have a little sleep in, and hit the trail at a reasonable time full of stoke and caffeinated.
4. Cost. You already own a wide variety of camping gear (mattresses/sleeping bags) so your nearly set for car camping. Complement your existing gear and turn your vehicle into a cozy camper for the price of 1 nights stay in a motel.

Sleeping in your SUV/Wagon won't be as luxurious as a sprinter van. A new high top converted van will generally cost at least $70,000 USD. The Backseat Bivy car camping set up works for people that own converted vans as well in conjunction with a 2nd vehicle and are looking for economical ways to travel on shorter trips in their fuel sipper SUV/Wagon/Car. It's a good feeling knowing you cut back on emissions, slept comfortably, and have your nice campsite paid for from all that gas money you saved.

A two year warranty that covers manufacturer defects. So if the fabric has worn through, or a buckle broke, the velcro doesn't stick anymore we will assess the damage and fix it or replace it. Our quality control team can be reached at warranty@backseatbivy.com.

We kept to a simple design, complexity equals potential for the product to break. So no cup holders on the Backseat Bivy, plus most people use a water bottle while camping right. The Bivy does help with a couple things though:
1. Act as a barrier so to keep your dogs in the back of the vehicle if you leave the Backseat Bivy hanging from the front headrests, and unattached form the rear seat. It actually does this really well!
2. Work as a make shift picnic blanket in the grass, although you may spill and stain the bivy.
We are sure the Backseat Bivy can do more but it really shines in helping you sleep way better in your vehicle.
